Academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu – Imanov had a master class at Gazakh branch of Baku State University
Director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu Imanov had a master class on the theme “Folklore and written literature” online to the teachers and students of the Faculty of Philology of Gazakh branch of Baku State University. Academician Mukhtar Imanov made a wide report on the context of oral and written literature, the context of readers, the quatrains performed at the ceremony of mourning and wedding, ashug art, epics, the folklore which structure is known and unknown. He also spoke about the issues of objects and subjects, the contribution, the image in the matter of time and space.
During the comparison of the works with fairy tales Mukhtar Imanov mentioned about the theoretical views of Isa Huseynov (Muganna) on a series of narratives, “Tutek sesi”, works by Samed Vurgun, the work “Murder day” by Yusif Samadoglu with great interest. He also answered the questions asked by students such as Aytaj Ibrahimli, Jhale Mirzeyeva, Zeynab Babayeva. Such classes at Gazakh branch of Baku State University play an important role in the future development of students as professional staff in the field of education and it aims to expand the scientific cooperation among ANAS and higher education institutions.
