The next volume of the scientific-literary journal “Dede Gorgud” was published
The third volume of the scientific-literary journal “Dede Gorgud” (2019) publication of the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) has been published.
According to the information given from the Institute it was mentioned that with the help of editor of the journal the head of the department “Dede Gorgud” Doctor of Philology, Professor Ramazan Gafarli articles have been published in five parts in this volume. The articles such as “A look at the investigation history of the epos “Kitabi-Dede Gorgud” by professor Ramazan Gafarli, “How many copies are there of the “Dede Gorgud Book?” by the Turkish scientist Osman Fikri Sartkaya, “The military words in the epos “Kitabi Dede Gorgud” by Elnara Javadova, “The style opportunities of the colors in the language of the epos “Kitabi Dede Gorgud” by Parvin Abdullabeyova, “The folklore semantics of demonic image names in Anglo-Saxon and Azerbaijan eposes: Grendel and Tepegoz” by Arasta Khudiyeva have been published in this volume.
The other articles such as “Folklore and its investigation: the 20th century” by the Russian folklorist Sergey Neklyudov, “The epos “Alp Ar Tonga” by Islam Sadig and Parinaz Sadigli, etc. were also published in the part called “Folklore-study: problems, investigations”.
One can also read the interesting investigations in the parts such as “Imadaddin Nasimi-650”, “The new samples from Azerbaijan folklore”, “Samples from Turkish folklore”.
