The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held
at the Institute of Folklore
The meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Folklore ANAS on the 9th of December in 2022. The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Scientific Council, Director General of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov, who informed about the issues of the meeting. The first issue of the meeting was about the scientific-research and scientific-organizational activities of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS in 2022. The academician mentioned that in 2022 the Institute of Folklore of ANAS acted in several areas, including the collection, archiving, publication, research of intangible cultural heritage, as well as the expansion of international relations, scientific organization and has achieved achievements in the different fields.
Then the Executive Director of the Institute is PhD, associate professor Afag Ramazanova made a report on the scientific-research and scientific-organizational activities of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS for 2022.
The report orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, implementation of state programs, scientific-research plans, foreign relations, scientific publications, implementation of relevant decisions and orders of ANAS, scientific events, personnel training, activities in the study of folklore of the liberated territories, social activities of employees, etc. covered the issues. It was especially noted that in 2022 the Institute of Folklore organized 5 International, 5 Republican conferences, 2 Scientific Sessions, 2 commemorative events, 4 literary and artistic events, most of which were related to the “Year of Shusha” and the implementation of appropriate orders of the President.
