Our employee attended an international conference
Leading researcher of the Department of Collection and Systematization of Folklore of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Ph.D., associate professor Aynur Jalilova took part on March 25-27, 2022 at the international conference “Divani lugat-it turk”-950 Mahmud Kashgarli organized by the Institute of Linguistics of ANAS. The name of the report was “Hunting names and information about hunting in Kashgarli’s “Divani-lugat-it-turk”. In her report A. Jalilova spoke about hunting names in the Kashgarli dictionary, their semantics, hunting traditions, hunting terms and subjects. The speaker researched the hunting motifs, proverbs and parables found in nouns, adjectives and verbs in the dictionary systematically and brought them to the attention of the audience. The report was listened with interest by the audience.
