Azerbaijani scientists took part in the “II Education” Congress in Turkey
On July 13-18, 2021 in Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Turkey, with the support of the “Turkish Education-Sen” Organization of the Republic and the UNESCO Turkey National Commission the II Congress of Education began its work. It is known that on the 15th of July, 1921 the first Congress of Education was held in Ankara with the participation of people from all over Turkey. The main purpose of holding the II Education Congress, which took place after a century, was to increase the quality of human resources for Turkish education, Turkish science life and Turkish state in the following period, to determine a new road map in the field of education.
Among the invited persons to the II Congress of Education were three from Azerbaijan - leading researcher of the Department “Modern folklore” of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD, associate professor Tahir Orujov, leading specialist of the analytical information sector of the Department “Public Relations and information” of the Presidium of ANAS Agil Maharramov and the employee of the department of “Folklore of Turkic peoples” of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS Vagif Orujov. About 300 reports by scientists and researchers from the country, foreign countries, as well as Azerbaijan were heard at the II Education Congress, which lasted for six days.
PhD, associate professor Tahir Orujov made report on the theme “Education problems in the ancient Turks-Huns and Goyturks”, the reports such as “Teaching and learning problems in Qur'an” by Agil Maharramov and “Turkey-Azerbaijan education relations in the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic” were made.
