The General Meeting of the Division of
Humanitarian and Social Sciences was held
On the 14th of April the online General Meeting of the Division of Humanitarian and Social Sciences of ANAS was held. The event was opened by the Vice-President of ANAS, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Division of Humanitarian and Social Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbayli. The general meeting decided to establish a commission to monitor scientific journals in the humanitarian and social sciences. At the meeting, it was decided to submit a petition to the Presidium of ANAS to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the corresponding members of ANAS Vali Aliyev and the 90th anniversary of Ingilab Karimov. At the event, including the corresponding member of ANAS Nushaba Arasli was awarded the Honorary Decree of the Division of Humanitarian.
Elections to the post of general director of some scientific institutions on a number of personnel and current issues on the agenda of the meeting were held. Director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov, who participated in the general meeting, also joined active discussions on everyday issues. He shared his views on the issues and took part in the open voting.
