Employee of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS was a guest of the program “Good Morning, Azerbaijan!”

On the 23rd of February leading researcher of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD, associate professor Sonmaz Abbasli was a guest in the live broadcast of the program “Good Morning, Azerbaijan!”. Noting that the idea of dividing the winter into “three chille” (period) based on the primary outlook and imagination continues to live among the people today, she talked about the historical roots of the first Tuesday, the traces of the worship to the water and the features of its holding in the regions. S.Abbasli shared her thoughts about proverbs, idioms and sayings, as well as our forgotten beliefs about trust in water cult during the program.
