Professor Naila Rahimbayli took part at the new project of Mugham Centre

Since March 2020, the International Mugham Center has implemented several online projects under the motto “Stay at home, stay with mugham”, in which employees of the Folklore Institute also took active part. The purpose of the project “Unudulmayanlar” (“Unforgettable”) presented in this series was to familiarize the audience with the great figures of the world of art, especially the life and nature of the leading figures of mugham art through online lectures. Project coordinators are the head of the Music folklore department of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Professor Naila Rahimbeyli and Gulhuseyn Kazimli. Life and activities of a number of prominent representatives of Azerbaijani mugham art such as Jabbar Garyagdioglu, Seyid Shushinski, Khan Shushinski, Kechechioglu Mahammad, Zulfi Adigozalov, Huseyngulu Sarabski, Alovsat Sadigov, Alasgar Abdullayev, Hajibaba Huseynov, Mashadi Jamil Amirov, Majid Behbudov, others… brought to the attention of the audience by Professor Naila Rahimbayli.
It should be noted that the participation of employees of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS in the events of the International Mugham Center is carried out within the framework of a Memorandum of cooperation.
