On the 13th of July Professor Hayrettin İvgin, head of the Turkish “Word” academy, representative of Samsun city Vezirkoyu municipality Ibrahim Sadik Edis, teacher of Moscow State University of Humanities and Economics Salvinaz Ismayilova met with director of ANAS Folklore Institute, academician Mukhtar Imanov. Firstly the director of the Institute, academician Mukhtar Imanov gave information to the guests about the work life and newness of the Institute.

During the meeting the information about the project “Common city” between Samsun city and Mehdiabad settlement of Baku city was given. The proposal about helping in this project as the cultural support was also offered. The academician accepted the offer and told his thoughts about that project. Later Hayrettin Ivgin congratulated academician Mukhtar Imanov on his election as a member of the Academy “Word”. He said that up to now 76 members of the Academy were elected. Academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov expressed his gratitude for the award and stressed the importance of continuing creative relations between the scientific institutions. At the end the guests were presented the publications of the institute.
