The play “Light in the dark” by Nizami Muradoglu was performed
On the 27th of March the play “Light in the dark” by Ph.D. in philology Nizami Muradoglu was premiered in Sumgait State Drama Theater. The work presented on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and Huseyn Javid’s 135th anniversary. The editor of the performance is Firudin Maharramov. The producer is Mustafa Mustafayev, the composer is Telman Guliyev. The artists such as Ilaha Safarova, Izamaddin Bagirov, Rauf Agakishiyev, Jalal Mammadov, Ogtay Mehdiyev, Habil Khanlarov, Sadagat Nuriyeva, Shahla Mammadova, Ilham Safarli, Daglar Rustamov, Ilaha Safarova, Shamistan Suleymanli and others took part.
The work is dedicated to the tragedy of prominent playwright and poet Huseyn Javid, who was the victim of 1937 repression. At the same time, the context of this family depicts the poems of independent poets Ahmed Javad and Mikail Mushfig, both moral and physical torture and dungeon life.
