Employees of the Institute of Folklore took part in the 4th International Turkic World Congress of Educational Sciences and Social Sciences in Turkey
On the 24th-27th of November in 2022 the “4th International Turkish World Congress of Educational Sciences and Social Sciences” started its work. This Congress dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great victory was organized by “Turkish Education and International Eurasian Education Union”.
Employees of the Institute of Folklore made reports such as “Similarities and differences of epic folklore of Anatolian, Azerbaijani and Balkan Turks: based on sayings, epics, proverbs and riddles” by PhD, associate professor Tahir Orujov, “Turkish World and Migration Culture, Ancient Traditions, Lost Values (In the Example of Tovuz region of Azerbaijan)” by PhD, associate professor Aynur Ibrahimova, “Typology of symbols in the eposes “The Book of Dede Gorgud” and “Cuchillin” by PhD, associate professor Fidan Gasimova, “Press Period of Azerbaijan Folklore and Ashiq Literature (during 1937)” by PhD, associate professor Ilhama Gasabova and “Folk games in Turkish and Azerbaijani folklore: origin, history and formation” by Gunay Orujzade. Each of them received the “Duatepe Science Award” and “Certificate of Appreciation” signed by Turkish Education and UAESEB Chairman Talip Geylan. The 4th International Turkic World Congress of Educational Sciences and Social Sciences was over on the 27th of November.
