Academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov made a report at the Scientific seminar of the Institute of Economics of ANAS
On the 14th of February in 2022 the General Director of the AMEA Folklore Institute the academic Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov was a guest at the Scientific seminar of the Institute of Economics of ANAS. General Director of the Institute of Economics of ANAS Professor Nazim Muzaffarli and employees of higher education institutions also attended the event held under the chairmanship of the Institute of Economics. Academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov made a report on the theme “Azerbaijan folklore and statehood thought” at the meeting held online via the Zoom platform. Academician noted that, the epic of heroism is regarded as a genre with a vivid reflection of the struggle for freedom of peoples around the world.
Academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov drew attention to the family as the most prominent organization of the society in the epos “Dede Gorgud”. He said that the family relations built on loyalty to each other, selflessness of the other way was directly or indirectly connected with statehood, with the criterion of service to the state.
After the report of the academician the wide discussion was held around the topic, questions were answered. It was emphasized the importance of integration into the world, its role and importance in strengthening our statehood by preserving our historically formed rich national features and identity in the modern globalizing world.
