The meeting with the southern guests was held at the Institute of Folklore
On the 25th of December a group of educated people – Seyid Mahammad Chavushiyan, Mohammad Kumijani, Ruhengiz Mehri, Esfendiyar Sepehri, Eli Khalkhali, Rauf Emini and others from Iran were guests at the Institute of Folklore. The director of the Institute of Folklore, the academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov greeted the guests and gave information about the activity of the Institute. He mentioned the publication of six books named “Southern Azerbaijan folklore”. The guests estimated the activity of the Institute very highly and offered their help in collecting the folklore materials. At the meeting the chairman of the sector “International relations” Ali Shamil, the chairman of the department “Southern Azerbaijan” Ph.D. Matanat Abbasova reported and gave information about the work principles of the departments and publications.
