The collaborator of the Institute of Folklore took part at the Turkic World Strategically Investigations congress
The collaborator of the department “Folklore of Turkic nations” of the Institute of Folklore ANAS, Ph.D. Tahir Nasib took part in the Turkic World Strategically Investigations congress held on the 2nd-5th of November in Antalya. The congress was held by some organizations such as TIKA, Bursa Uludag University, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan State University of Economy, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Kazakhstan Ahmed Yasavi University, Kirgizstan Jalal-Abid Economy and Public Administration Universities, Macedonia International Vision University. The turkologists from Turkic world and different regions took part at the congress, about 156 reports were listened at, the events propagating the Turkic culture were also realized. The famous Turkish singer Bunyamin Aksungur also took part at the congress and in his repertoire he sang Azerbaijan folk songs. Tahir Nasib reported the theme “The perceptions about the ancient beliefs of Ural-Altays in new living forms in the modern Turkic languages” at the congress. In the report involving the rich facts the scientific information about living forms of the ancient beliefs in modern toponyms and hydronyms, in the person names, songs, etc. is given.
