The collaborators of the Institute took part in the 1st International Gumushhane symposium
On the 16th-18th of October in 2017 the collaborators of the Institute of Folklore took part in the 1st International Gumushhane Symposium. In the symposium realized in the region Gumushhane of Turkey the leading scientific worker of the department “Folklore and the written literature” Ph.D., associate professor Fidan Gasimova reported the article “Gumushhane and the ancient Turkic folklore, mythology”, the senior scientific worker of the department “Foreign relations” Aynur Gazanfargizi reported the article “The motif, plot and character similarity with the Azerbaijan and kumuk tales of Gumushhane tales”, the post graduate students of the Institute of Folklore Shabnam Huseynova reported the article “The mythological discoveries in Gumushhane legends”. In the symposium about 97 scientists from different countries took part in the symposium held with the organization of Gumushhane University-Turkic History Organization and Gumushhane municipal administration.
