The collaborators of the Institute took part in the 5th International folk culture symposium
The leading scientific worker of the department “Folklore and the written literature” Ph.D., associate professor Fidan Gasimova and the senior scientific worker of the department “Mythology” Ph.D. Ilhame Gasabova took part in the symposium “The 5th International folk culture” held in Ankara, Turkey on the 12th -14th October in 2017. In the symposium held by the Gazi University and the municipal administration of Kahramankazan Ph.D., associate professor Fidan Gasimova reported the article “The typology of the main characters in the Oghuz and Celtic eposes” and Ph.D. Ilhame Gasabova reported the article “The similar wedding traditions in India, Turkey and Azerbaijan”. Fidan Gasimova also headed one of the sections of the symposium. In the symposium about 164 articles were listened at. At the end of the symposium the exhibition about the folk culture and art works by 87 masters from the different countries were organized.
