The employees of the Institute of Folklore took part at the 2nd International Haji Bayram Veli Symposium
On the 3rd-4th of May April the employees of the Institute of Folklore ANAS took part at the 2nd International Haji Bayram Veli Symposium held in the city Ankara in Turkey. The leading scientific worker of the department “Folklore and written literature” of the Institute of Folklore, Ph.D., associate professor Fidan Gasimova reported the article “Human and society in Haji Bayram Veli’s admonitions” and the senior scientific worker of the department “Collecting and systematizing the folklore” Ph.D. Aynur Jalilova reported the article “Turk Sufism during the 15th-16th centuries”. The scientific worker of the department “Folklore and written literature” of the Institute of Folklore Aytaj Abbasova also had a thesis named “The common philosophy connecting Ahmed Yasevi and Haji Bayram Veli”. At the symposium realized in the conference hall of TOBB Haji Bayram Veli’s life, thoughts, influence, language, literature and other subjects were listened at. Many scientists from Turkey and different countries took part at the symposium. The scientists from Azerbaijan such as Professor Nasib Goyushov and Ph.D., associate professor Khuraman Hummatova also reported on different thesis.
