The scientific workers of the Institute of Folklore took part at the 3rd International Symposium of Cultural Heritage of Turkic World Hamza Nigari
On the 17th of May the 3rd International Symposium of Cultural Heritage of Turkic World Hamza Nigari was held in Shamakhi. Many famous people such as ANAS Vice-President, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, the Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanitarian Sciences, director of ANAS Institute of Manuscripts after Muhammad Fizuli, Academician Teymur Kerimli, director of ANAS Institute of Folklore, Academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov, the principle of ASPU, professor Jafar Jafarov, directors of the branches of the same University in Agjabedi, Guba, Jalilabad, Shaki, the first deputy of Shamakhi Region Gasim Gasimov, the collaborators from the scientific establishments and the cultural centers in Turkey, Italy and Macedonia, including Amasya University, Marmara University, Chankiri Karatekin University, Italy Yokoku Association, etc. also took part at the symposium. The principle of ASPU, professor Jafar Jafarov and the first deputy of Shamakhi Region Gasim Gasimov greeted the guests of the symposium and wished good luck to them.
Academician Isa Habibbeyli, Academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov, Academician Teymur Kerimli estimated the work of the symposium very much in their speeches. A number of reports in different themes were listened at the symposium. The collaborators of the Institute of Folklore Sahiba Pashayeva (“Islam solidarity, multiculturalism and Sufism”) and Ilhama Gasabova (In Gazakh – in the valley Inja Sufism and nagshibandilik) reported on their themes.
