The scientist from Albania was at the Institute of Folklore

The chairman of the Albania Head Archive Office in Tirana, Doctor of Sciences Entella Mecho established the Albania-Azerbaijan Friendship Scientific-Cultural Centre in order to improve the Azerbaijan-Albania relations. Visiting Azerbaijan every time she visited the Institute of Folklore ANAS and brought the first number of the newspaper “Albanians and Azerbaijan” published by the centre. Accepting the visit of the guest the director of the Institute of Folklore, the academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov congratulated Entella Mecho with the publishing of the newspaper and wished the new activity luck. During the meeting improving the scientific-cultural relations, the comparative investigation of both nations’ folklore, especially the mythical texts collected from Albania were planned. At the meeting the chairman of the department “Foreign relations” of the Institute Ali Shamil also took part.
