Our scientific workers took part in the international colloquium in France
The international colloquium on the theme “ Azerbaijan ashugs and West trouvers” was held in Mulhouse in France together with Elzas University , the Azerbaijan Embassy in France and Ganja State University .
The scientists and art men from different countries such as Azerbaijan , Turkey , Persia , USA , Aljazeera and etc. took part in the colloquium.
The scientific workers of our Institute such as Ilhame Gasabova (“The master-apprentice relations in ashug activity”) and Aynur Gazanfargizi together with Ali Shamil (about Jalili ashug tunes) took part in the colloquium with their articles. The reports by secretary of Azerbaijan Ashug Unity (AAU) deputy director of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami ANAS Maharram Gasimli, the secretary on the international affairs of AAU Sanubar Bagirova, the teacher of Ganja State University Maharram Orujov and the leader of the musical group “Dalga” from South Azerbaijan were met with great interest.
At the meeting the young singer Araz gave a concert. Aynur Gazanfargizi and Chingiz Mehdipur also played in a saz (an Azerbaijani folk musical instrument like guitar). The information about ashug art in Aljazeera , Tunis and Marrakesh was also met with a great interest by Rashida Simo who came from Aljazeera.
