Next meeting of “Novruz lectures” was held in ANAS
ANAS held next meeting “Novruz lectures” organized by AR Ministry of Education on the 10 th of March at the main building.
During the meeting, Director of the Institute of Folklore , ANAS corresponding member Mukhtar Imanov and Director of Institute of Control Systems , Academician Telman Aliyev delivered lectures.
In lecture “Philosophy of Novruz” Mukhtar Imanov spoke about the history, philosophy of Novruz and gave the detailed information on “Novruz Charshanba” (Novruz Tuesdays). He noted that, Novruz had been included in the list of the UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage.
In lecture “The formation of computer science and modern state” T.Aliyev informed on the first element of information and calculation techniques and development of devices, development of information technologies in Azerbaijan , spoke about the achievements.
The scientist told on the research of systems covering oil refining, transport, energy via information technologies as well as the application of seismic devices based on new technologies.
Then the discussions about the theme have been done. It is necessary to note that “Novruz lectures” are organized according to the initiative “From science to the education” and the lectures are also recorded by “Tahsil” TV and they are spread in the internet resources of Ministry of Education.
